There's no different timelines but completely different stories, the first anime was it's own thing while the PSP game was it's own thing too, this anime is pretty much an overhaul of the PSP game with entirely new stuff.

Well that was dark/sad, kinda fitting, but still dark/sad.

Talk about doing something for nothing... that was an unexpected ending but I welcome it since it's shows how dark this anime is, it was really great to see Dead Master again, I wonder if her and Strength will be the only other ones besides Empress... we're still missing Chariot and Black Gold Saw for example, I swear if BGS appears I'm going to have a meltdown!

Other than that... I'm seeing the Cult Leader of the Institution, is he actually trying to lead his robot people to BECOME AS GODS? I'm guessing he's trying to get a human woman pregnant to prove that robots can replace mankind, and of course all his toys die in the process.

I was personally shocked that Disney had ANYTHING to do with this since it's so full of sexual undertones and language. I mean the house that mouse built doing Heavy Metal style anime is unexpected to say the least.

Now the animation and fighting scenes also became lame.. And the robot villain doing indecent thing to human.. It's f***ing cringey

he's evil and only saw the lolis as sacrifices for his baby making project. they have no value to him outside of that. so if they get caught in the explosion to kill whoever stole his property "it's no big loss"

This echoes pretty much with Nier Automata, as robots wanted to be humans so bad that they even started to emulate sex and failing epically in the process, my guess is that the Institution wants to be the next mankind via robotics and this Cult Leader is trying (or at least I'm guessing) to make a girl pregnant to prove that robots can create life.

There's also the bit of him saying that he's looking for the perfect woman to endure his body, which means that regular women can't survive his robot dong.

He couldn't fuck them, so he left them to die.
After all, fuck is the most important word of this anime.

That first chase sequence should have ended in seconds. Black Trike could have wasted all of them with zero effort, yet only took a couple shots to extend the scene and let the Colonel get in on the action. :/
